The Wunderkammer of the Mild Colonial Boy, Esq., a Reactionary Tory Gentleman, who armed only with a Steampowered Babbage Engine and Pure Intentions, wanders the Time Streams and Aetheric Plane gathering an Eccentric Hodgepodge of Curiousities, Frivolities, Whimsicalities and Nonsense.
Q. Why is your Tumblelog called "My Ear-Trumpet Has Been Struck by Lightning"?
A. Because "My Grandmother's Ear-Trumpet Has Been Struck by Lightning" wouldn't fit in the available space.
Mona Johannesson (1986-), Retrato de una Dama (Portrait of a Lady). Vogue SP October 2006. Photographied by Juan Gatti (1950-).
Johannesson, a Swedish model, was discovered at the age of 14 by an IMG Models scout while she was at a horse trials event in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Gatti was born Buenos Aires. His mother was a haute-couture fashion designer and as a child, he spent hours under the drawing table reading fashion magazines. In his 20s, he got arrested for a political protest. During the six months he spent in a maximum security prison, Gatti started drawing.
