1. This should be a PSA against caffeine consumption, such is teh crazy of Kawaii flamingo I project
2. As you can see, I wasn’t kidding about seasonally inappropriate hosiery
Our meeting was almost completely serendipitous.  Indeed, it was a great surprise to see the great Billy Rood at Starbucks, but for him to see me?  I almost literally live in this place.

There was this one time I actually left the house, at night, not for work, and went to something for fun.  I KNOW, WHAT WAS THAT.  And there were other people, too!
All jokes aside, it was the screening of a few films by Billy Rood (man in the center), who is an great friend and amazing photographer/filmmaker/human being of creative greatness.  It would be too simple to describe his films as “fashion” films or “art” films.  They are always beautiful, they always evoke emotion, and both of these qualities stem from the way that Billy balances music (always extremely well chosen), light, movement, and the expression of the subject (or model).  He never neglects the fact that the eyes convey the most; in fact, his films always emphasize this.  I watch a lot (too many, perhaps) of fashion/model films, many of which have huge production budgets and big effects; yet I always remember Billy’s films.
