This video is created by Jillian Venters who owns an associated website called Gothic Charm School. This a great place to start for introductions into what is and is not “Goth”.
I really liked Jillian Venters firstly because I - LOVE - her clothing style. Then I developed a mild case of envy and wished that I had the courage to dress as she does. I’ve always celebrated the individuality and creativity in others, but never had enough self-esteem to carry it off myself. This is something I want to change.
I also liked the no-nonsense approach to discussing the subject of goth culture and social etiquette. I haven’t come across etiquette discussed from the unique perspective of a subculture before, so this is a really interesting concept.
So yes, I am impressed. Keep up the good work Lady of the Manners! :)
