Hallo my followers! A big favour to ask…I hate doing things like this as I don’t want to spam you with requests, but Village Cinemas here in Australia is running a Gatsby competition for a private Gold Class screening of the movie. I would like nothing more than to round up my friends and family who have recently supported me so much to have one big Deco themed party with them.
I’ve entered the competition with the photo above, in an all-original 1920s outfit. The link to the competition website on FB is here.
In order to vote, you need to go to the site and “Like” it, then at the top right there are two buttons - Enter and Vote. When you get to vote, scroll down and you’ll see me in the yellow dress. I’m currently running second, but the first place holder has a lot of votes. See who you think has the best “Gatsby” outfit - I won’t tell you to vote for me if you think someone else is doing a better job of flappering it up, but any votes or reblogs are much, much appreciated!
It literally doesn’t get more fabulous than this photo.
You are too kind!
This is it for the comp, my darlings, and I swear I’ll never enter another FB popularity contest and spam you again. I’m currently in Second Place, but I’m a good 80 votes behind the first place holder….if you do feel inclined to vote for me, though, I’d really appreciate it!
The easiest way to identify a well-made suit is the canvas. This is the lining that runs down the front of the jacket and gives it structure. It’s why the front feels different to the back. The canvas can be sewn in, so it can move with you and your movements, or glued.
Looking good is never illegal.
Now that’s a stylish kid.
